Job Description
Job Summary:
Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Reinsurance Treaty and Facultative skilled in managing and optimizing reinsurance operations within the reinsurance domain
Job Description:
Manage and analyze reinsurance treaties and facultative placements to ensure effective risk transfer
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams to support reinsurance strategies
Monitor treaty performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms
Assist in the preparation and review of reinsurance documentation and reports
Support the implementation of reinsurance programs and process improvements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of reinsurance market trends and regulatory requirements
Facilitate communication between cedents and reinsurers to resolve issues and clarify terms
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and negotiation of treaty and facultative reinsurance contracts
- Analyze and interpret reinsurance data to provide actionable insights for risk management
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reinsurance accounting and reporting
- Identify opportunities to optimize reinsurance structures and reduce costs
- Provide expert guidance on treaty and facultative reinsurance matters to business units
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices in reinsurance operations
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the reinsurance function
