Birmingham; 3 days a week on site and 2 days from home.
Remuneration
£350–£400 per day outside IR35.
Contract
Initial 6 months, with potential to extend to 2 years.
Role
My client, a leading consultancy involved in the HS2 programme, seeks a Civil Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of civil assets throughout the construction phase of this major infrastructure project. The role focuses on design, coordination, and development of civil engineering assets, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Prior experience in asset management frameworks with Network Rail is required to align designs with operational and maintenance requirements. Exposure to Materials, Technology and Acceptance (MTA) processes is highly advantageous and will help candidates stand out.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in civil asset design within infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with or alongside Network Rail standards or asset management processes.
- Understanding or awareness of Materials, Technology and Acceptance (MTA) processes is desirable.
