Learning Support Assistant – Primary Schools, Horsham
Daily Rate: £90-£95
We are working with supportive primary schools in Horsham who are looking for Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with additional learning needs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with children who require tailored support to access the curriculum.
You will assist pupils with a range of needs, including SEN, communication difficulties, and social or emotional challenges. Support may take place in the classroom or through focused intervention sessions.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting learning in literacy, numeracy, and phonics
- Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to support learning plans
- Promoting inclusion and positive engagement
- Supporting pupils during structured and unstructured times
