This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Dover, Kent as a Trainee Day Programme Facilitator on a Full Time (35 hours), 12-month fixed term contract.
Designed as a structured traineeship, this role offers hands-on experience, professional development, and the chance to work towards a relevant qualification (subject to criteria), all within a supportive and guided environment.
Throughout the traineeship, you will shadow an experienced team member who will provide ongoing guidance, supervision, and support as you learn the different aspects of the role. You will take part in regular reviews to ensure you are progressing successfully, alongside compulsory therapy as part of your development journey. The role combines practical, on-the-job learning with study towards your assigned qualification.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to build a career in health, social care, or recovery-focused services, while gaining real experience in a structured and supportive setting.
During your traineeship, you will develop skills in:
- Planning and managing a caseload effectively
- Undertaking risk, initial and comprehensive assessments to support treatment and intervention pathways
- Facilitating 1:1 sessions and group programmes
- Reviewing ongoing care and treatment in collaboration with healthcare professionals and partner agencies
- Working within multi-disciplinary and integrated teams
- Supporting service users with recovery planning and through-care needs
- Collecting, recording, and contributing data for audit, research, and reporting purposes
