Drawing Technician (Civil/Structural) – FLN Consulting Engineers (Glasgow)

Salary: £25,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience) Application Deadline: 27 April 2026 About the Role: FLN Consulting Engineers are an established multi-disciplinary consultancy operating across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Drawing Technician to join our structural team in Glasgow. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in CAD who is looking to develop their technical drawing expertise within a professional engineering environment. You will support the production of high-quality civil and structural drawings, working closely with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver coordinated design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Produce and amend civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD (and Revit where applicable) Assist engineers in developing detailed design drawings and construction information Coordinate drawing outputs with internal teams and external stakeholders Attend site visits and surveys to inform accurate drawing production Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with project and industry requirements Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a civil/structural drawing or technician role Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (essential) Experience with Revit Structures (desirable) Good understanding of engineering drawings, detailing, and construction principles Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload with minimal supervision Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Clear communication skills and ability to work within a team Ability to work independently as well as part of a team What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Structured training programme Hybrid working opportunities (role primarily office-based in Glasgow) Contributory pension scheme 30 days annual leave (20 annual leave and 10 public holidays) 37.5-hour working week with early finish on Fridays (15:30) On-site parking41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
