Are you passionate about supporting young people and using sport as a tool for positive change? We’re recruiting on behalf of Chelsea FC Foundation for Sessional Coaches to join their Youth Inclusion team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in meaningful, community-focused work — using sport and physical activity to engage young people, help them build life skills, and create safer, more inclusive environments.
As a Sessional Coach, you’ll help deliver structured sessions in youth clubs, schools, and community venues. These include football and multi-sport activities, as well as leadership programmes and workshops covering key social topics. The focus is on engagement, inclusion, and personal development.
Deliver inclusive and engaging sports sessions to young people aged 10–18 Support workshops on leadership, social action, and youth issues Help build relationships between young people and local services (e.g. police, schools) Work closely with other coaches and staff, communicating your availability regularly Attend ongoing training as required
FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate or Youth Work Level 2 qualification Experience working with young people in a community, school or youth club setting
FA Level 1 (for Assistant Coach roles) Youth Work Level 3 or a teaching/mentoring qualification Multi-sport delivery experience Mental Health First Aid training Driving licence (or ability to travel across London/Surrey using public transport)
