About our client

Our client, a global large‑cap private equity fund, is looking to hire a Funds Legal Counsel to join its London office as part of the global legal team. The firm is well established in the industry, invests through multi‑asset classes, and has a strong international presence. Due to growth and forthcoming fund‑raises, the fund seeks an experienced private‑equity funds lawyer.

What the job involves

• Take charge of structuring and establishing the firm’s funds from start to finish
• Prepare, review and negotiate all essential documentation for fund formation
• Serve as the lead legal architect for fund frameworks in multiple jurisdictions
• Provide guidance on fund economics and structural aspects
• Act as main legal contact point for LPs during fundraising activities
• Direct and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage ad‑hoc corporate and business‑based legal tasks when needed

Who we are looking for

• Experienced in private equity or private credit fund formation
• Experience gained from private practice or in‑house within a fund
• Good knowledge of multiple regulatory frameworks
• UK qualified solicitor
• Commercial mindset and a hands‑on attitude
