Senior Insight Analyst (7 months FTC)

We make it happen. Join Sky’s Data Science & Analytics team in the Rapid Insight function, working on strategic data projects across Sky’s platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify best data sources for analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineering to understand data pipelines and resolve inconsistencies.
• Determine the most appropriate analytical approach for each question.
• Extract and transform data using BigQuery (SQL).
• Conduct end‑to‑end analysis in Python, Excel, or other tools as required.
• Present findings clearly and support stakeholders with actionable recommendations.

What you’ll bring

• Experience delivering key insights that support business and commercial decisions.
• Clear communication skills.
• Curiosity about data and how to use it effectively.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure result validity.
• Ability to remain calm when urgent requests arise and reprioritise scheduled work.

Essential Criteria

• Strong experience in analytical roles.
• Proficiency in Excel (core tool for stakeholders).
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably BigQuery.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of Tableau (understanding of how reports are built; no need to create them).

Working Arrangements

Hybrid: 2 days in the office per week (typically Wednesdays and Thursdays). Off‑site work is supported.
