A well-established Further Education College in the Liverpool City Region is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer / Course Leader to join its Construction and Engineering department on a permanent basis.
This is an opportunity to lead and inspire the next generation of electricians, delivering high-quality teaching across Level 1-3 Electrical Installation programmes while contributing to curriculum development and departmental leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching in Electrical Installation (Level 1-3)
- Act as Course Leader, overseeing delivery and assessment
- Support apprenticeships and full-time learners in achieving their qualifications
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance processes
- Work closely with employers and industry partners to enhance learner progression
- Provide pastoral and academic support to learners
About You
- Strong background in Electrical Installation with relevant industry experience
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Assessor and/or IQA qualifications desirable
- Experience delivering within Further Education or apprenticeship settings
- Up-to-date knowledge of current electrical regulations and practices
- Ability to lead a course area and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational and communication skills
