We’re proud to deliver safe, reliable water services for millions of customers while protecting the environment for future generations.We’re looking for a Delivery Assurance Manager to provide front-line assurance across our Supply Maintenance Delivery (SMD) portfolio, with a particular focus on Storage Point construction and refurbishment activities.In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. Working closely with delivery teams and contractors, you’ll help embed consistency, improve performance, and drive a strong culture of continuous improvement across our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-the-ground assurance of health, safety, and CDM compliance across SMD projects, including site audits and safety reviewsCarry out site inspections and quality reviews to ensure works meet specifications, standards, and best practiceSupport the delivery of a “right first time” culture by identifying risks early and promoting effective construction methodsReview programme performance and productivity trends, helping to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunitiesDeliver commercial assurance through site-based validation of costs, materials, and contractor outputsSupport the development of performance and quality KPIs, ensuring consistent measurement across the portfolioCoach and support Project Engineers and delivery teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, and operational performanceWork collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to ensure aligned and effective deliveryRequirementsExperience in operational delivery, construction, or infrastructure environments, ideally within utilities or a regulated industryKnowledge of health & safety requirements, including CDM regulationsExperience of quality, performance, or commercial assurance activitiesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and challenge constructivelyEffective communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a wider team environmentGood IT skills and a proactive, organised approach to workWe invest in our people – as a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:Personal private health careGenerous double match pension – contribute 7% and Anglian Water will contribute 14%, giving a total contribution of 21%24-hour Virtual GP service for you and your household26 days annual leave – rising with length of service and the ability to buy moreLife assurance (up to 8 x salary)Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary)Excellent family friendly policies, such as 26 weeks full pay for maternity / adoption leave, as well as 4 weeks paid paternity / partner leave.
