Veterinary Surgeon – Independent with no OOH or weekends!

We are a respected independent veterinary practice located near Caerphilly, seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (minimum 3 years qualified) to join our team of 11 vets and 10 RVNs.

Salary

£45,000 – £70,000 DOE, 25 days annual leave, Bank Holidays, Pension, up to £3k CPD allowance and professional fees paid.

Near Caerphilly.

Your Role

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a valid UK license, minimum 3 years qualified.
• Full or part‑time hours with a focus on consults, medicine and imaging, rather than advanced surgery.
• 15‑minute consultations.
• No nights, out‑of‑hours or weekend work.
• Fixed day off per week, 38‑hour week over 4 days.
• Professional fees paid (RCVS, VDS, BVA, BSAVA).
• Opportunities for career development, including support for certificates and a CPD allowance of around £3k per annum.
