Hygiene Operative

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all equipment in the factory (machinery, belts, etc.) are cleaned to a high standard, as per procedure – full training and PPE will be provided
• Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary
• Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies
• To comply with managers/supervisors’ instructions in a timely manner
• Report to your Supervisor/Manager of the area concerned any maintenance requirements
• To adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations
• Promptly report any accidents, incidents or near misses to your manager or supervisor
• To work in a manner as to prevent or minimize the risk of accidents
• To adhere to current legislation with regards to safe food production
• To undertake such other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required
• Undertake Chemical training

Experience / Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Flexible approach to hours and duties

Hourly rate:
