Our client, based in the Middle East and a global top-10 sovereign wealth fund, is looking to hire an investment professional into its TMT team, with a dedicated focus on the global hardware & semiconductor sub-vertical

Requirements

• Experience: 7/8 years + of experience within a top-tier Investment Banking (M&A or TMT group preferably).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a strong academic record; CFA or MBA is a plus but not required.
• Technical Skills: Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Intellectual curiosity regarding semiconductors, hardware, emerging technologies and global geopolitical shifts.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• European or Asia dean exposure is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive fundamental research and sector mapping across the TMT landscape (mainly semiconductors and hardware).
• Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment returns, including LBO, DCF, and merger consequences.
• Manage the end-to-end due diligence process, coordinating with external legal, financial, and technical advisors.
• Draft high-quality investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee (IC).
• Monitor the financial and operational performance of existing TMT assets.
• Work closely with management teams on strategic initiatives, including bolt-on acquisitions, capital restructuring, and exit planning.
• Synthesize market trends to provide proactive risk assessments of the portfolio.
