Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop tailored care plans for inmates.

Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals with a range of mental health conditions.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.

Administer medication and monitor its effects, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Offer crisis intervention and support during periods of acute distress.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with data protection regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with current NMC registration.

Relevant qualifications in mental health nursing as per role requirements.

Completion of NHS mandatory training.

Proven experience in mental health nursing, preferably within a secure or forensic setting.
