Director level Quantity Surveyor – Nottingham

Turner Property Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading construction and property consultancy to appoint an exceptional Director-level Quantity Surveyor for its Nottingham office.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an accomplished Quantity Surveying professional with a strong market presence, an extensive industry network, and a demonstrable track record of winning work and developing client relationships.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, leading major client commissions, and expanding the consultancy’s Quantity Surveying offering across the Midlands and wider UK market.

The Opportunity

As a Director, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and growing the Quantity Surveying team within the region.
• Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
• Leveraging your network to generate revenue and build a sustainable pipeline of work.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with developers, investors, occupiers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Acting as the lead advisor on major commissions across a range of sectors.
• Managing and developing key client accounts to generate repeat business.
• Mentoring and developing a high‑performing team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Contributing to the strategic direction and growth plans of the wider business.
• Raising the profile of the business through networking, industry engagement, and market presence.

About You

• Chartered status (MRICS).
• Extensive consultancy‑side Quantity Surveying experience.
• A proven track record of winning and delivering significant commissions.
• Strong business development credentials and an established industry network, particularly across the Midlands market.
• Experience managing key client relationships and generating repeat business.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and grow teams.
• Excellent commercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities.
• A reputation for delivering exceptional client service and commercial advice.
