A leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join its growing property team. This role offers the opportunity to take on greater responsibility, work independently on more complex matters and support the continued success of a busy conveyancing department.
The Role
You will provide high-level support to fee earners while independently managing elements of complex residential property transactions. The successful candidate will be confident handling a broad range of conveyancing tasks and acting as a key point of contact for clients and third parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners on a wide range of residential conveyancing matters.
- Independently managing complex sale transactions, including leasehold and unregistered title matters.
- Drafting mortgage reports, search reports and key conveyancing documents.
- Reviewing title documentation and raising enquiries.
- Conducting source of funds reviews and lender compliance checks.
- Managing exchanges, completions and post-completion processes.
- Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
- Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate.
About You
- Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal with the ability to work independently.
- Strong technical knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
- Experience handling complex sale matters and assisting with purchases.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Experience with case management systems is desirable.
