The Compliance Performance Officer acts as a key link between finance and compliance, safeguarding financial integrity and mitigating corruption and fraud risks. The role ensures consistent execution of control plans across the UK and wider European entities, and the effective implementation of internal controls across both financial and non‑financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement internal controls, audit, risk, finance, and compliance functions.
  • Understand financial processes and contribute to fraud prevention and anti‑corruption initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders across various locations, including European sites.
  • Conduct analytical reviews, paying attention to detail and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and provide meaningful insights through robust reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in internal controls, audit, risk, finance or compliance.
  • Understanding of financial processes and interest in fraud prevention, anti‑corruption, and governance frameworks such as the UK Bribery Act, FCPA, Sapin II.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
  • Background in law or a relevant law degree is beneficial, though not essential.

Salary and Working Arrangements

Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2–3 days per week on‑site.

Security clearance required: British citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship.

HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) required after offer.
