The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to become a Team Manager within our newly established Family Help Service. This role is an essential part of ensuring both the service and partnership are supported, to provide support to children and families at the earliest opportunity. The role will lead on working with partners to support early help work across the partnership and in line with this provide workforce development opportunities across Family Help and the wider partnership. As part of our ongoing commitment to practice improvement, the role will also deliver on quality assurance activity to support the Family Help service and wider Early Help system. The role will require close working with senior managers to improve the quality of Family Help services delivered to Children and Families and lead on developing strong and robust approaches to partnership support across the Early Help system. This will include leading the development and delivery of partnership support, workforce development opportunities and line management of Early Help Consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on working with partners to support early help work across the partnership and provide workforce development opportunities across Family Help and the wider partnership.
  • Deliver quality assurance activity to support the Family Help service and wider Early Help system.
  • Close working with senior managers to improve the quality of Family Help services delivered to Children and Families and lead on developing strong and robust approaches to partnership support across the Early Help system.
  • Lead the development and delivery of partnership support, workforce development opportunities and line management of Early Help Consultants.

About You

  • Passionate and experienced manager with an understanding and experience of Early Help work with Children and Families, and a good understanding of Family Help developments.
  • Experience of working in partnership, building relationships across the partnership and supporting partners in the context of Early Help work.
  • Experience of developing and delivery workforce training to improve practice.
  • Experience of undertaking quality assurance activity and have the proven ability to analyse data and information to support ongoing improvements across Family Help.
  • Experience of managing high performing teams, utilising a restorative approach to leadership and leading by example.
  • Approachable and confident leader, embraces creativity and approaches change with a ‘can do’ attitude to overcome challenges.
