Robert Half is partnering with a regulated investment management organisation in search for a Institutional Client Relations Officer to join the commercial team. This role is based in central London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Institutional Client Relations Officer to join a growing and evolving investment organisation during a significant period of transformation.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role sits within the Commercial team and plays a key part in managing and strengthening relationships with public sector funds and institutional partners.

The Role:

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role combining client engagement, reporting, project coordination, and operational support. You will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for institutional clients and stakeholders
  • Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, research and committee papers
  • Support asset transitions and commercial projects
  • Coordinate meeting materials and stakeholder communications
  • Maintain and develop CRM systems (Salesforce) and client reporting tools
  • Produce management information and quarterly investment reporting
  • Support regulatory processes and client categorisation requirements
  • Contribute to improving scalable service models and operational efficiency
  • You will work cross-functionally with Investment, Operations, Compliance and Responsible Investment teams, as well as external suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
  • Analytical with strong report-writing and data skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • Technically proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems such as Salesforce)
  • Experience working with pension schemes, public sector clients or investment environments is advantageous
