Role Description
Jewellery CAD Designer (Full-Time) – London
Based at The Goldsmiths’ Centre, Farringdon
Gala Creations Ltd is one of the UK’s premier CAD design boutiques, known for excellence in 3D scanning, bespoke jewellery design, and manufacturing.
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Jewellery CAD Designer to join our growing studio on a full-time basis.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in both design and production, working on bespoke pieces from concept through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce accurate 2D flatwork and detailed 3D CAD designs
• Work with Rhino 3D, Matrix/MatrixGold, and ZBrush
• Create technical drawings, renders, and manufacturing-ready CAD files
• Support wax prototyping and operate in-house 3D printers, scanners & laser engravers (training provided)
• Liaise with clients and suppliers
• Manage digital files and project workflows
• Collaborate closely with mounters and setters
✅ Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in jewellery CAD design
• Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes
• High attention to detail and design aesthetics
• Confident communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organisation and time management
