The Role

Your responsibilities:

• Evaluating & comprehending data and information from diverse sources and producing innovative, high-quality solutions to problems that meet Business requirements and drive forward the department strategy.
• Complying with engineering, design and testing standards and practices, and with Admiral IT governance and architectural standards while performing in a heavily regulated environment.

Your Profile

• Essential skills/knowledge/experience: Senior Data Engineer having extensive experience in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) data area or any Cloud experience.
• Creating effective technological solutions for work with big data.
• Hands‑on experience with Python scripting.
• Hands‑on experience on Java.
• Hands‑on experience on Data Flow or Apache Beam.
• Deep understanding of data concepts primarily inclined towards ETL.
• Hands‑on with ETL/DWH and SQL (any RDBMS).
• Hands‑on experience with any DB should be able to read/understand/alter stored procedures.
• Proven knowledge of BigQuery.
• Having experience in Airflow
• Cloud Functions specialist.
• Data flow expert with good experience.
• Proven experience and ability to create best practices and policies to improve quality at program level.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to manage client stakeholders.
• Analyze production data to identify areas of growth.
• Excellent data analysing and review skills.
• Experience of working in an agile environment and participating in all agile ceremonies.
• Knowledge on Jira
• Guidewire knowledge will be added advantage
