Job Description

Global Program Manager in the Global Engineering PMO to lead the rollout of key enterprise digital programs (Digital Smart Factory), including IoT, Capital Expenses and Line Design applications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive consistency and quality in project execution using appropriate methodology and tools.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project‑level risks, escalating them to global leads or program managers when necessary.
  • Provide project reporting and status updates through scorecards, status reports, monthly review meetings, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Track budget management, resource planning, and utilization.
  • Confirm project completion and readiness to go live.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional global teams and external partners to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Integrate inputs from Global Quality, Supply Chain, and MDS teams to develop coherent deployment strategies.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of program elements across all assigned digital programs.
  • Support regions and sites during pilot and deployment phases through guidance, escalation management, and best‑practice sharing.
  • Establish and maintain a consolidated view of deployment status for key enterprise digital programs.
  • Support and enhance governance forums, prepare and present status updates, KPIs, and decision materials to leadership.
  • Track decisions, actions, and escalations to closure; document lessons learned and promote reuse.
  • Analyze cross‑regional and cross‑functional risks and surface critical dependencies such as vendor capacity and resource constraints.
  • Facilitate timely escalation of critical issues and risks to appropriate governance levels.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP®, PgMP®, PMI-ACP®) is a strong advantage.

Experience and Skills

  • 10+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in digital transformation, engineering, or technology rollouts.
  • Success managing complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives in a PMO setting.
  • Experience coordinating with regional/site teams and external vendors or integrators.
  • Familiarity with both predictive and agile/hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise digital initiatives and their impact on manufacturing or supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence across functions and geographies without direct authority.
  • Structured, analytical, data‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and managing virtual/global teams.
  • Proficiency in program management software and collaboration tools.

Travel Requirements

20%+ travel may be required.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940, depending on experience, skills, education, and location.
