Fractional Chief Financial Officer

Our client a tech start up is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Fractional Chief Financial Officer to support our business on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week). This role is ideal for a highly qualified finance professional looking to contribute strategic insight and financial leadership in a flexible capacity.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO (or equivalent senior finance leader) within medium to large private sector businesses
• Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of business strategy and value creation
• Demonstrated success in driving financial performance and supporting growth
• Extensive network of senior contacts across relevant disciplines, with a proactive approach to leveraging these relationships
• Advanced expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and management reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the executive team
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Develop robust financial models to support decision-making and growth initiatives
• Enhance reporting frameworks and deliver clear, actionable insights
• Support fundraising, investor relations, and potential M&A activity (if relevant)
• Identify risks and opportunities, helping shape overall business strategy
• Commitment: 1–2 days per week
