Service Manager, Offshore

Responsibilities

• Work on site and report to the Regional Service Offshore Director, UK, collaborating with engineering, logistics, and commercial teams.
• Be P&L responsible for your site, fully responsible for service delivery including people management and vessels.
• Manage the site team to ensure optimal operation of customer assets, encompassing quality, HSE, production performance, asset security, operations and maintenance activities, and employee development.
• Work closely with the customer in collaboration with the Customer Manager.
• Handle daily operations, maintenance schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safety‑first culture.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Great and clear communicator with a positive influence.
• Ability to guide and motivate site teams.
• Business acumen, familiarity with setting goals, budgeting, and cost optimisation.
• Commercial understanding and experience with contract management.
• Planning and carrying out tasks with competing priorities.
• Experience in the wind industry and offshore operations is beneficial but not required.
• Great stakeholder management skills and a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust, motivate, and develop others and cultivate a positive team culture.
• Demonstrated commitment to address issues until a solution is implemented.
• Great communication skills, combined with commercial and strategic mindset.
• Structured and focused on important details, thriving in an innovative and fast‑growing environment.
• Advanced IT skills, proficient with MS Office applications.
