The Role
As an Activities Coordinator you will provide stimulating and meaningful activities for our residents. You will tailor these activities, taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve the quality of life, whilst promoting and upholding our resident’s privacy, dignity and independence at all times.
Responsibilities
- Create a happy and caring atmosphere, putting residents’ needs first and providing a wide range of physical, social, emotional, and psychological activities tailored to the individual.
- Accompany residents to local events such as country fairs, lead chair exercise classes, reminisce with residents about their childhood holidays, or conduct arts and crafts.
Qualifications
- No previous experience required – full training will be provided.
- Enjoy leading and organising activities, and are organised, sociable, active, and enjoy bringing people together.
- Demonstrate a flexible, hard-working and caring attitude, with a desire to work as part of a dedicated team, showing care and compassion at all times.
