This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of a finance function, leading a team, improving processes and making a visible impact.
You’ll sit at the heart of the operation, working closely with stakeholders across the business whilst helping shape a more efficient, scalable and commercially focused finance function.
The role
A broad position with a healthy mix of operational leadership and continuous improvement.
You’ll be responsible for:
✔ Leading finance operations across billing, accounts receivable and controls
✔ Managing and developing a capable, motivated team
✔ Driving process and systems improvements across the finance function
✔ Enhancing reporting, MI and operational insight
✔ Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support better decision-making
✔ Playing a key role in wider transformation and change initiatives
Think 75% leadership and operations, 25% change and improvement.
About you
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who enjoys improving how things are done.
You’ll bring:
✔ Strong operational finance and management accounting experience
✔ A track record of delivering process improvements and change
✔ Strong systems skills (Sage experience would be a bonus)
✔ The confidence to challenge, influence and build relationships
✔ Previous team management experience and a genuine passion for developing people
