Your role at Nuffield Health
Working with experienced Health and Wellbeing Physiologists, you will deliver face‑to‑face Health Assessments and GP consultations, focusing on wellbeing, without quotas or unrealistic targets.
Utilise user‑friendly platforms, enhanced pathways, state‑of‑the‑art clinics and a national network of hospitals. Opportunities to contribute to our charitable purpose through programmes partnering with NHS and other providers.
As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor, you will be
- On the GMC register and the GP register with licence to practice.
- Willing to provide a minimum of 2 days per week.
- After qualifying, you must have completed 6 months of GP experience with 6 sessions per week in the UK, in a traditional NHS GP surgery.
- In the last 6 months have worked a minimum of 4 sessions per week as a GP.
- Competent in health screening services such as smear tests, breast examinations, venepuncture, interpreting results and ECGs.

Location
Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals provide private healthcare to Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The Vale Hospital focuses on in‑patients, while Cardiff Bay Hospital handles day cases. Both hospitals feature modern facilities, advanced technology and dedicated services.
