Senior Practitioner – Adults (Social and Healthcare Qualified)

Pay Rate

£38p/h – tbc

Contract

Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.

Work Arrangement

Required to be in office 2days per week at City Hall.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work
• Active license to practice as a social worker.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
• Ensuring children are at the forefront of interventions and decision making
• Engaging with families and completing parenting assessments
• Liaising with partner agencies
• Ability to respectively challenge parents
• To always respect and consider people’s life experiences, differences and choices
• Home visits
• Managing all aspects of CP and CIN cases. Attending and minuting associated meetings
• Attend professionals meetings
• Managing cases in proceedings, Writing court reports, Attending court
• Writing s7 and s37 court reports
• To work with a level of autonomy
