About you
- Extensive senior finance and accounting experience, ideally within hospitality
- Proven track record as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader
- Strong commercial and financial analysis capabilities
- Skilled in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- High accuracy with attention to detail
- Experience with hotel finance systems and accounting software
- Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
What you’ll do
- Lead the preparation of management accounts, profit/loss statements, and financial reports
- Partner with operational teams to drive profitability and support business objectives
- Provide accurate forecasts, budgets, and insightful financial analysis
- Monitor financial performance and communicate key trends and opportunities
- Develop and enforce robust financial controls and policies
- Manage external audits and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Oversee payroll and labour cost management
- Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team to deliver excellence
