Job Details
Annual Salary: £24,242.40 pro rata per annum (based on 37 hours per week). Pro rata for part‑time roles.
Hours: Full and Part‑time vacancies available.
Vacancy Type: Permanent (requires a full DBS).
About the Role
If you’re looking to work in the beautiful Lake District, we are looking for friendly, caring and enthusiastic people to join our teams in Kendal, Cumbria.
Oaklea’s Adult Care Home & Supported Living properties in Kendal provide care and support to people with learning disabilities. In your role, you will support customers with a wide variety of needs and aspirations and work with our organisational values as we strive to encourage independence.
Responsibilities
You will support customers who love being active and are looking for new ways to be involved in their community, while having fun. You will support people with their personal care needs, help with daily activities, and accompany them to appointments within the local community.
You will work closely within a small team, and working hours will include days, nights, and weekends shared amongst the team.
Qualifications & Attributes
You do not need to be experienced, but it is essential that you share our values. You must have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of people with whom the Charity works. We will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.
