Job Summary

To support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality operations so that teams are well organised, standards are maintained and guests receive a consistent experience.

Please note – working hours will be flexible and vary throughout the year, this is a Casual contract so we do not guarantee a particular amount of hours.

The key responsibilities for the Hospitality Supervisor (Casual) include:

• Operational delivery
  • Support delivery of shifts so that service runs efficiently and without interruption
  • Maintain standards so that all areas are clean, safe and ready
• Team support
  • Brief and guide team members so that roles are understood and delivered effectively
  • Support performance during service so that standards are maintained under pressure
• Guest experience
  • Engage positively with guests so that the environment is welcoming and inclusive
  • Resolve issues quickly so that service quality is maintained
• Safety
  • Monitor safe working practices so that risks are minimised
  • Follow procedures so that compliance is maintained
• Flexibility and multi-skilling
  • Work across different operational roles so that the operation can respond to changing demands
  • Develop skills across hospitality, guest experience and safety so that flexibility and progression opportunities increase

The person specification for the Hospitality Supervisor (Casual) includes:

Essential

• Experience in customer-facing environments
• Ability to support teams in busy situations
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and flexible approach
• Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
• Willing to complete relevant statutory checks eg DBS (Factory International can support with processing and payment)

Desirable

• Supervisory experience
• Interest in developing across multiple roles
• Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
