Nuclear engineering, waste management and decommissioning specialist. AWE Aldermaston site with ongoing work for commercial, data centres and nuclear. This position requires a construction project engineer with a Mechanical bias.

Role

Mechanical Construction Project Engineer – 50–60 hour expected working week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation to support project delivery, including Control Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and LTQR documentation.

Requirements

• Background working on the tools in a Fitter position.
• Experience writing and signing off permits.
• 2+ years experience in the nuclear sector preferred.
• NVQ Level 4, HNC or HND – NVQ Level 3 alone will not be sufficient.
• CSCS Card.
• DV Clearance or the highest-level SC clearance held within the last 12 months.
• No dual nationals allowed.

Package

£42.00 per hour CIS. Potential for 10 years of work and the option of a temporary‑to‑permanent contract.
