The Role

As a senior leader within the Marcomms team, you’ll act as strategic deputy to the CMO and be instrumental in evolving UKTV’s marketing function. You’ll drive long‑term strategic direction, lead organisation-wide transformation, and inspire high performance across a talented marketing organisation.

This is a role for a curious, forward‑thinking leader with a passion for creativity, innovation, and leveraging data to deliver exceptional results.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Define and evolve UKTV’s long‑term marketing vision and strategy
  • Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing team
  • Shape enterprise-wide strategy and influence executive decision‑making
  • Drive marketing transformation, embedding new technologies including AI
  • Oversee creative and strategic development across all UKTV brands
  • Ensure marketing resources, processes and systems are future‑ready
  • Represent UKTV in industry forums and champion creative and digital excellence
  • Own and optimise marketing commercial performance across the customer lifecycle

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience setting long-term strategy aligned to business goals
  • Proven success leading high‑performing marketing teams
  • Experience scaling B2C brands in digital‑first environments
  • Strong track record applying data, analytics and insight to drive strategy
  • Ability to link marketing activity to financial outcomes
  • Expertise in customer engagement, performance marketing and lifecycle growth
  • Creative excellence paired with rigorous analytical thinking
  • Experience leading organisational change and driving innovation
  • Deep knowledge of the media, entertainment, streaming or fast‑moving consumer sectors
