Langley Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an organised, compassionate, and client‑focused Residential Night Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated team in Bradford. This is a permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £26,936 per annum.

As part of our team at Box Tree Independent Approved Premises, you will be supporting individuals who have been released on licence and require a high level of supervision. Your work will directly contribute to helping people resettle safely and positively in the community.

We play a crucial role in supporting residents through their transition from custody, helping them adhere to licence conditions and providing guidance that promotes both their wellbeing and public safety. You’ll be part of a team that conducts regular checks, monitors behaviour, and engages constructively with residents, colleagues, and key partners across the criminal justice sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working through the night as part of a team providing support at all times and enforcement of rules when necessary to clients residing at the IAP.
  • Monitor and encourage compliance, door duties, guide, advise and supervise Clients, whilst ensuring that public protection is at the very core of all work carried out.
  • Modelling pro-social behaviour and attitudes, helping to create and maintain a positive culture of respect in all work with both clients and colleagues.
  • Actively engaging with clients and providing opportunities to do so including preparation of supper and breakfast.
  • Contributing to delivery of the sentence plan in conjunction with colleagues in probation, the police and other external agencies.
