Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

PE-Backed SaaS / Technology Business

The Opportunity

We are mandated to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a private equity-backed SaaS / technology business with a strong partnership-led commercial model. The company is scaling rapidly, combining high-quality recurring revenues with a growing ecosystem of partners (e.g. resellers, affiliates, strategic alliances).

This is a critical hire, with the CFO playing a central role in delivering the value creation plan and preparing the business for a successful exit.

Role Mandate

The CFO will act as a true business partner to the CEO and investors, with responsibility across strategy, finance, and commercial performance.

Key priorities include:

  • Driving the value creation plan and supporting exit readiness
  • Embedding best-in-class SaaS metrics, reporting, and forecasting
  • Bringing rigour to partner/channel economics and profitability
  • Professionalising the finance function, systems, and controls
  • Managing investor relationships and board reporting

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience:

  • Proven CFO or high-calibre FD experience in a PE-backed SaaS / technology environment
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV)
  • Experience working with partnership / channel / ecosystem-driven revenue models
  • Track record of delivering in a value creation / exit environment

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in scaling businesses from mid-size to larger platforms
  • Prior involvement in a successful exit (PE secondary, trade sale, IPO)
  • International growth exposure
  • Experience implementing finance systems and data infrastructure
