This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking construction environment. The RoleAs a Design Technician / Coordinator, you will support the design and project teams by producing and coordinating technical drawings for a range of construction projects. The company works across a variety of sectors, delivering high-quality solutions for internal construction packages. Projects will typically include elements such as drylining, internal fit-out, and partitioning, so previous exposure to these areas would be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Assist with the coordination of design information across projects
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and site teams
- Review and amend drawings in line with project requirements
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications
- Support the wider team with technical documentation where required
Requirements
- Proven experience using AutoCAD in a professional environment
- Previous experience within the construction or building sector
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
- Good communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience working on drylining, internal fit-out, or partitioning projects
- Previous experience in a design coordination or technical role
