Fixed Term Post – Maternity Leave Cover
Registered Nurse required for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave. Position based at Osprey House with opportunities to work across the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service.
Responsibilities
- Carry out assessments, develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide interventions, harm reduction advice and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population.
- Offer supervision and support to junior staff within the team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with sound clinical knowledge and a wide range of clinical skills.
Good interpersonal skills and a full driving licence, with access to a car for work‑related duties.
Working Hours & Conditions
12‑hour shift pattern (approximately 12.5 hours), Monday to Friday, for a fixed 12‑month term.
Effective 1 April 2026, full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours; part‑time hours will be adjusted pro‑rata, with an hourly rate increase to keep pay unaffected.
