The Royal Society is the UK’s national academy for science. The Publishing section publishes a portfolio of 11 prestigious journals, which disseminate high quality research worldwide and generate a positive financial return for The Royal Society. The Society is committed to making all of its journals Open Access on sustainable models.

Royal Society Publishing uses various systems to enable us to achieve our objectives. The Workflow Operations Manager has a key role managing the editorial, peer review, production, and other systems, collaborating closely with editorial and production teams, vendors, and other partners to ensure that workflows and systems run smoothly. The role involves identifying and implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with industry standards and Royal Society’s policies. xwzovoh

Reports to: Head of Editorial and Production

Line manages: Publishing Team Administrator

Location: Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG plus hybrid working.

Hours: Full time, 35 hours a week

Pay band: E

Contract: permanent

Salary: £50,000 per annum
