We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role will offer training, mentoring and career development opportunities. This role can be based at either our Glasgow, Almondvale, Leeds or Warrington Office however Hybrid working is available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, price and submit tenders to a high quality.
- Apply full analytical estimating knowledge.
- Prepare contract preliminaries.
- Work independently and settle quickly into a challenging role.
- Develop commercial acumen and negotiate with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers and sub‑contractors to build strong and rewarding relationships.
Qualifications
- Successful track record in preparing, pricing and submitting tenders.
- Experience predominantly within a fitout / housing / general construction environment.
- Education to at least HND level with a strong understanding of estimating issues.
- Robust commercial acumen and good negotiation skills.
- Good communication skills in writing and verbally.
- Works well as part of a team, interacting positively with colleagues and clients.
