Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner – Malvern Hills Area Adult Social Work Team

Salary: £41,511 – £44,711 per annum (Plus an annual retention / welcome / market force of £3,000)

Hours: 37 Hours per Week

Location: Rowan House, Malvern

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Role Summary

A fantastic opportunity for the role of Advanced Social Work Practitioner within the Malvern Hills Area Adult Social Work Team. This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. You will work in a friendly and supportive team, located in the beautiful and scenic Malvern, covering Malvern Hills, Tenbury and surrounding areas. You will work alongside 2 ASWP colleagues, manage the day-to-day operational duties of the Area Team including supervisory responsibilities, and provide an expert, consultative role in the delivery of the strengths-based Social Work model. If you are seeking more responsibility, want a supportive role with colleagues, and wish to continue to support and safeguard adults of all ages, this could be ideal for you.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications: Professional social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS) or other social work qualification certified by Social Work England.

Whether you’ve managed and mentored a team before or you’re looking to take your first steps in developing your management skills, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Social Worker looking to move up in your career and progress in your profession.
