Media Technician

We are working with a leading provider of technical solutions to the film, television, and live production industry, who are looking to hire a Media Systems Technician to join their Technical Support & Installation team.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for installing and supporting non-linear editing systems, particularly Avid, across a range of high-profile productions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and de-rigging editing systems, particularly Avid
• Troubleshooting technical and operational issues for clients during hires
• Liaising with clients to ensure correct system specifications and workflows
• Preparing and managing equipment ahead of deployments
• Tracking assets and maintaining accurate records

Requirements:

• Experience with Avid equipment
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Full driving licence and valid passport

Desirable:

• Understanding of broadcast technology

Location:

Primarily based near Heathrow, with occasional travel across the UK and mainland Europe.
