Product Engineering Manager – SemiconductorsLocation: Near Cambridge
We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Engineering Manager to lead semiconductor product development and engineering activities at our Bedford-based facility, supporting both local wafer fabrication and global manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering innovative, high-performance semiconductor products from concept through to high-volume production.
The Role
As Product Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers developing advanced semiconductor devices, including MOSFETs, TVS diodes, and Thyristors. You will oversee the full product lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional and international teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, and commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage semiconductor product development from concept to production
- Oversee design, testing, and qualification of new devices and processesDrive project planning and execution using tools such as MS Project
- Develop robust business cases, including cost and timeline estimates
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, TS16949, and AECQ standards
- Champion quality and continuous improvement using Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE methodologies
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
- Support innovation through new designs and patented concepts
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management to the team
- Resolve complex product and process challenges
