Our clientis currently seeking an experienced Residential Development Solicitor to join the expanding Bristol property team. As a pivotal member of the team, you will leverage your expertise to advise major residential developers, funders, and house-builders on various aspects of development, acquisition, disposal, and strategic land work. This role is client-facing and requires a proactive approach to generating work and fostering client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a robust personal client network and a track record of securing and successfully delivering on development projects for key clients.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on residential development matters, including development agreements, acquisitions, disposals, and strategic land work
- Take a lead role in client relationship management and business development activities
- Generate work through leveraging personal client network and building relationships with key industry players
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the real estate department
- Maintain a high standard of legal service delivery and client satisfaction
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ PQE, specialising in residential development
- Proven track record of advising clients on residential development projects, with experience working with major developers, funders, and house-builders
- Strong business development skills with a demonstrated ability to win work and cultivate client relationships
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Leadership qualities and a team-oriented approach
- A values-led and collaborative mindset, aligned with the firm’s culture
