What you’ll be doing
You’ll report to the Operations Manager and own customer projects from start to finish. This customer-facing role combines technical aerospace expertise with stakeholder management in a high-stakes environment.
- Deliver projects meeting agreed time, cost, quality, and scope objectives
- Act as primary interface with customers and key internal stakeholders
- Establish project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery baselines
- Report progress, risks, issues, financials, and quality metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Operations
- Manage project change through formal change control processes
- Support bid and proposal activities with realistic plans and costs
- Lead and develop assigned project team members
What we’re looking for
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- OR proven project management experience of comparable complexity, scale, and risk
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, military/defence, or similarly technical regulated environment
- Strong delivery focus with structured project management approach
- Excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and professional judgement
- Effective communication with strong stakeholder management skills
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001
- Valid Passport
- UK Driving Licence
- Hold or be able to hold SC clearance
