Job Description:

Company Description

At ORB, we’re transforming how healthcare providers access and use medical information.

With ORB Connect, clinicians can securely view complete NHS GP records in real time through a unique integration with NHS England — helping private providers prepare for consultations more effectively, without administrative burden or manual data handling.

We’re growing rapidly across the private healthcare sector and are looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive that growth.

Role Description

We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to win new business across the UK private healthcare sector — including private GP practices, clinics, diagnostic centres, and healthcare groups. You’ll own the full new-business cycle: from prospecting and demos through to negotiation, close, and handover for onboarding.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, selling value-led solutions, and shaping how a growing commercial function operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new business across private GP practices, clinics, diagnostic centres, and healthcare groups
  • Demo ORB, clearly showcasing:
  • Real-time NHS GP record access
  • Smooth integrations into existing workflows/systems
  • Build strong relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, positioning ORB as a trusted long-term partner
  • Manage your pipeline end-to-end: forecast accurately, maintain CRM hygiene, and consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success to support onboarding and refine messaging/positioning based on market feedback

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years’ sales experience in MedTech, HealthTech, or healthcare services
  • Proven experience selling into UK private healthcare organisations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills (value-led, consultative approach)
  • A proactive, self-starting style — comfortable working autonomously and owning outcomes
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Nice to have

  • Existing network within the UK private healthcare sector
  • Understanding of NHS and private healthcare dynamics
  • Experience selling SaaS, digital health platforms, or clinical systems

Interested?

If you’re passionate about improving how patients and clinicians access information across the UK — and want to be part of a fast-growing health tech company — we’d love to hear from you.
