Grade C- £35,412 – £44,075 per annum
Consultation grade – subject to formal evaluation under the Equal Pay Programme
Working 36.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, dynamic, and collaborative Quality Assurance and Testing (QAT) team dedicated to delivering high‑quality digital services. We are passionate about creating reliable, user‑centred software that delivers real value to our colleagues and the citizens of Birmingham.
We are the Digital and Technology Services Quality Assurance and Test Team, responsible for assuring the quality of digital, data, and technology deliverables across major programmes and projects.
As a Quality Assurance & Test Engineer, you will play a key role in improving product quality and delivery by supporting a wide range of testing and assurance activities.
You will help shape how quality is embedded into modern delivery, work towards an agile, lean, and automation‑driven QA approach, and invest in tooling and practices that enable faster, smarter testing.
