Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire Protection Engineer, based in North Cornelly. The responsibilities include fire extinguisher servicing, fire alarm servicing, emergency servicing to meet regulatory and British standards. The engineer will evaluate fire risks, ensure compliance with safety codes, and collaborate with owner/director to deliver effective fire safety solutions. The role also involves conducting site inspections, troubleshooting systems on fire alarms, and providing expert recommendations to enhance safety measures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Fire Protection services and Safety Engineering
- Experience with Fire Safety and Life Safety frameworks, standards, and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead up to perform fire risk assessments (training will be provided)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration
- Relevant knowledge in Fire Protection or a related field
- Professional certifications in fire safety fields are a plus
- Knowledge of British standards regulations and familiarity with local safety codes
