Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architectures across digital platforms, client-facing systems, and internal service delivery tools
- Produce high-quality architecture artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, design decisions)
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to enterprise architecture principles
- Work closely with programme managers, product owners, and delivery teams within a multi-stream digital transformation programme
- Support the design and integration of systems across professional services workflows (e.g., CRM, case management, workflow automation, reporting platforms)
- Provide architectural governance throughout delivery lifecycle
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements across professional services functions
- Translate business strategy into technical solutions that enhance client experience and operational efficiency
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Design integration patterns across legacy and modern platforms (APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures)
- Ensure interoperability across systems such as CRM, ERP, document management, and client portals
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, vendors, and platforms
Risk, Security & Compliance
- Ensure all solutions meet financial services regulatory, security, and data governance requirements
- Work with InfoSec and risk teams to embed security-by-design principles
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks
Governance & Standards
- Align solutions with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
- Participate in architecture review boards and design authority forums
- Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture practices
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within financial services or a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of professional services business models (e.g., advisory, consulting, client lifecycle)
- Expertise in system integration, APIs, and modern architecture patterns
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics)
- Knowledge of workflow/case management systems
- Familiarity with data platforms, analytics, and reporting solutions
- Exposure to client-facing digital platforms or portals
- Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud certifications)
