Library Service: Team Leader

Salary: £32,061- £36,363 per annum

Contract: Permanent | Full Time | 37 Hours Per Week

What You’ll Be Doing:

• You will lead a dispersed team to ensure the delivery of high-quality library and information services and support the work of our wider library service.
• Your role will support the delivery of activities, events and learning opportunities relevant to each local community, developing partnership working where appropriate.
• You will manage and supervise library teams across your area including the delivery of library business plans and performance, ensuring that libraries are placed at the heart of their communities and immediate populations.
• You will support and encourage staff to be the best they can, monitoring performance, contributing to recruitment and workforce development, and advising on key policies and procedures.
• You will travel to libraries across Burnley and Pendle district as well as being expected to attend County meetings.
