Role overview
As a Data Centre / Critical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining highly resilient systems where uptime is paramount. Working within a professional and safety-focused environment, you will gain hands-on experience across critical power and infrastructure systems, supported by an experienced engineering and management team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with agreed schedules
- Complete all maintenance tasks to high technical and professional standards
- Produce clear, accurate technical reports and documentation
- Utilise company systems to ensure contractual compliance and accurate record-keeping
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients
- Provide first-line out-of-hours call-out support when required
- Escalate site incidents promptly and professionally
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
- Support management with quotations for additional or remedial works
- Attend team meetings, briefings, and training sessions
- Submit accurate weekly timesheets
- Maintain strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
Candidate requirements
Qualifications & Authorisations
- Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- HVAP and/or LVAP authorisation
